Patrick and I were attempting to generate sufficient thrust to propel a rocket along a zip-line using a potassium nitrate + powdered sugar reaction. While we did get the reaction going as hoped, we overestimated the strength of the PVC pipe we were using for the rocket. The video explains the situation in more detail.
